Meet Vaibhav – The Healer Who Found Strength Through Yoga
Vaibhav’s yoga journey began not in a studio—but in a hospital bed. After a serious accident left him seeking ways to recover, he turned to yoga purely for physical healing. But something unexpected happened: yoga didn’t just heal his body—it transformed his mind, heart, and entire lifestyle. Today, Vaibhav is a passionate yoga teacher based in Haryana, helping others rebuild their lives through Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Pranayama, and Meditation. His calm, grounded presence and recovery-based approach make his classes ideal for beginners, working professionals, and anyone seeking true balance in life.
How Did Your Yoga Journey Begin, Vaibhav?
It all started after my accident. I needed something to support my physical recovery, and that’s when I found yoga. But as I kept practising, it became much more than therapy. It became my path to self-discovery, emotional balance, and mental clarity.
Which Yoga Styles Do You Teach, and Why?
I teach Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Restorative Yoga.
- Hatha Yoga builds a strong base and suits all levels.
- Ashtanga sharpens focus, strength, and stamina.
- Restorative Yoga allows deep healing—perfect for stress, fatigue, or injury recovery.
I blend all three to give my students a complete and sustainable yoga experience.
How Has Yoga Changed You—Physically, Mentally, Emotionally?
Yoga gave me everything I had lost after my accident—strength, hope, and purpose.
- Physically, I rebuilt my flexibility and energy.
- Mentally, I became calm and focused.
- Emotionally, I learned to manage anxiety and negative thoughts with ease.
Yoga brought me back to life.
What’s the Most Important Lesson You Teach Your Students?
“Your breath is your inner power.”
I always say, asana (posture) is important, but breath is everything. Through pranayama, we learn how to calm the nervous system, lower stress, and reconnect with the body. It’s the heart of yoga.
How Do You Make Your Classes Beginner-Friendly and Supportive?
I teach with patience and purpose. My goal is to make yoga for healing and beginners accessible to everyone. I:
- Offer pose modifications
- Share inspiring real-life transformations
- Teach at a slow, mindful pace
- Always give space for questions and feedback
No pressure. Just progress.
What Are the Common Struggles Students Share With You?
Most students come with stress, stiffness, or low motivation.
I guide them gently with:
- Customized sequences
- Breath awareness
- Mental clarity tools
So far, I haven’t faced any major challenges—but I stay ready to support any need.
How Do You Keep Evolving as a Yoga Teacher?
I practice daily—because you can only teach what you live. I also:
- Read traditional yoga texts
- Join workshops to update my skills
- Reflect and learn from every student
Yoga is a never-ending journey, and I love that about it.
Do You Also Teach Meditation or Healing Practices?
Yes! Along with asanas, I guide:
- Pranayama (Breathwork)
- Guided Meditation
- Yoga Nidra and Relaxation Techniques
True healing happens when we unite breath, movement, and stillness. That’s the space I create.
What’s Your Advice for Yoga Beginners?
Start where you are. Don’t wait to be flexible or “fit.” Yoga isn’t about fancy poses. It’s about awareness, breath, and inner strength. If you stay consistent—even with just 15 minutes a day—yoga will improve every part of your life.
